Add Event — Screen Change

The Screen Change Event type is used to cause an action(s) to occur when a particular screen is changed, either opened or closed.

To enter a Screen Change Event, do the following:

From the Database tab in the top Ribbon, select Event Manager Database.

1. In the Event Manager window, click Add.

2. For the Event Type, select Screen Change.

3. Complete the fields on the top half of the screen (above the big blue arrow) using the information in the table below.

Field	Description
Enable This Event	Select this check box to enable the event. If the Event is not enabled, it will not execute when the trigger occurs.
Event Name	The programmer-assigned name for each event. Event Name is not a requirement.
Event No.	The assigned event number for each specific event is used only as a reference in the database.
Screen No. and Screen Name	Select the Screen Number or Screen Name of the existing screen to monitor for the Event trigger.
When Screen is Opened/Closed	Click to select whether the Event will trigger when the selected screen is opened or closed.

4. Continue to the instructions (listed below) for adding the specific trigger action you want to associate with a Screen Change event.
