Add Event Action — Message Box

The Message Box action displays the specified Message when the event triggers. The Message Box can show a Title, the Message Text, and an Icon to indicate the type of message.

The Message Box is a Modal window; when the Message Box displays, it stay displayed until the user presses the OK button. The user cannot select other items on the screen. Other actions in the Sequence List will queue until the user presses the OK button in the Message Box. The queue can hold up to 1000 actions.

Configure an Action

The basic steps are the same for adding any Event Action to an Event. See Adding Event Actions - The Basics.

Message Box Action
Field	Description
Language	Select the language for the text in the alarm message. You may enter different text for up to nine languages. The text entered for each language displays when the user selects that language using the Set Language object.
Title	Enter a title for the Message Box.
Text	Enter the text that appears when the Message displays. In addition to text, you can select a time, date, and/or tag to appear when the Message displays.
Icon	Select an icon to appear on the message.
