Sound Library List

Store audio files in your C-more project. When you add files to the library, you can use them in any of these audio-supported objects:

Button/Indicator

Multi-Button/Indicator

Event Action — Sound

Supported File Types

The Sound Library supports MP3 and WAV file types. See Audio File Format Requirements for audio file specifications.

Use Sound Library Files

Use sound files for an object in the Behavior tab configuration dialog.

Click the Browse button to open the default Sound Library location:

\Documents\AutomationDirect\C-moreCM5\Library\Sound Library.

Add Sounds to the Library

There are two ways to add Sound files to the Sound Library.

Use the Software

  1. To add a Sound file to the Sound Library, select the Add sound button.

  • Windows File Explorer opens.

  1. Select the file.

  • The Add Sound to Library dialog opens.

  1. Select the folder to store the file.

  2. Click OK.

  • The file copies to the Sound Library folder: Documents\AutomationDirect\C-moreCM5\Library\Sound Library

Use Windows File Explorer

Copy Sound files to Documents\AutomationDirect\C-moreCM5\Library\Sound Library folder.

Audio File Format Requirements

WAV

Sample Format:

S8, U8, S16_LE, S16_BE, and more

Sample Rate:

2kHz through 192kHz

Channels:

1 through 32

MP3

Sample Format:

Signed int 16 little endian, U16LE, S32LE, U32LE, S24LE, U24LE, F32LE

Sample Rate:

0.8 kHz – 48 kHz

Channels:

1 or 2

MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3

Sample Rate:

48.0 kHz

44.1 kHz

32.0 kHz

Bit Rate:
