Indicator Light and Valve Indicator Objects

This topic deals with the Indicator Light and Valve Indicator Objects which display the state of the associated tag.

The Numeric Display object that appears in the Indicator section of the object list is documented in the Numeric Display Object topic.

The Multi-State Text indicator object that appears in the Indicator section of the object list is documented in the Multi-State Text Indicator Object topic.

The Button objects features include:

• Password protection and Visibility.
• Configuration details for Passwords for Objects and Screens are available in the Password topic.
• Visibility may be configured using a discrete tag or a numeric tag. The object will be visible when the tag or tag conditions are true.

The Valve Indicator object has a background that may be made Transparent.

Object visibility and transparency may be useful in your project but they have a significant cost in terms of CPU resources and noticeably affects screen update rates.
