Note: You can select the option to suppress scientific notation (exponential notation) when using Floating Point Data in the Panel Manager window. This is a global selection and applies to all Floating Point Data display objects. |
The Numeric Display Object allows you to display the value stored in the Data Display Tag without making that value accessible to be changed by the user.
|
Note: If using the Use tag for Decimal Point Tag, Fractional is ignored. |
Justify
Select a Justification setting from the drop-down menu. Leading Zeros display a 0 for every digit that has no value (e.g., 00034567if 8 digits are selected.) Leading or Trailing Spaces do not display any unused digits.
Use Tag for Decimal Point
A varying Decimal Point can be placed in the Numeric Display value by specifying the number of places in the assigned Decimal Point Tag.
Visibility may be configured using a discrete tag or a numeric tag. The object will be visible when the tag or tag conditions are true. Object visibility may be useful in your project but it has a significant cost in terms of CPU resources and noticeably affects screen update rates.
The displayed value may be scaled to represent a different range of values than the values stored in the PLC tag (Data Display Tag) configured on the General Tab.
