New Project

When selected, New Project opens a New Blank Project in the Ladder EditorAt this point, the New Project is Not Saved.  

Note: If you are currently in an Open Project and you have made changes to the program, you will be prompted to save the open project before replacing it with the New Project.

Opening New Project

There are three methods for opening a New Project:

Method 1

When the Productivity Programming Software is initially opened, the Start Project window shown below will open. The New Project button can be selected.

Method 2

Select the New ProjectMenu Item from the File Menu.

Method 3

Select the New Project icon from the Main Toolbar.

Once a new project is opened, the below pop up will appear asking you to select the model CPU to be used in the New Project. From this window, you are also given the option to open the Hardware Configuration window to populate modules for the system.
