The Cut Icon
is located on the Edit Toolbar and the CutMenu selection is available from the Edit Menu, located on the
Main Menu.
The Cut selection is used to remove a selected object from the ladder editor. When an object is selected and Cut, the object is removed from the project and a Copy of this object is placed on the Clipboard. The Clipboard saves the Copy in memory so it is available when the Paste function is selected. The Copy stays in the Clipboard until a new Copy or Cut is made of another object or until you Exit the program.
To Cut an object simply click on the object to select it, then click on the Cut Icon, or select the Cut selection from the Edit Menu. When an object is selected you can also use the Ctrl+X keyboard shortcut to make a Cut.
