The Recipe Object is used to load multiple values into tags with the push of a button.
In a Recipe, Source Data (constant values or Tag values) are loaded to the Destination Tags when the Recipe is loaded.
Add a Recipe Object to Your Project
To add a recipe object to your project, do the following:
- From the Object menu, select Recipe and then Recipe
— or — - from the Object List, click and drag Recipe to the work area.
- The Recipe Object set-up window opens displaying the General tab.
- Complete the fields on the screen that are common to all objects using the information in the Working with Objects Help topic.

Note: If you configure a Recipe Object with insert/Delete Row privileges, and the Call Recipe object calls a Static Recipe, the loaded Static Recipe record number values may change when an Add Row or Delete Row is performed at the panel. |
Example
If Recipe 3 is entered in this Call Recipe object, and an operator deletes Recipe 2 from a Recipe object, this Call Recipe object loads values previously associated with Recipe Record Number 4 (now reassigned Recipe Record Number 3.)
