AutomationDirect receives 2011 Leadership in Automation award in multiple categories

CHICAGO, IL (February 2012) ... Summit Media Group's Automation World magazine is pleased to announce the First Team category leaders in the 2011 Leadership in Automation Program. Automation World, the leading business magazine serving automation professionals, launched this community-based program in January 2011. Automation professionals were invited to vote for their favorite automation vendors in aided and unaided-recall surveys.

Up to seven companies were honored per category. Nearly four dozen categories represent the variety of automation technologies, software and products in use by today's manufacturing professionals across the discrete, batch and process manufacturing industries.

With votes cast by automation end-users, AutomationDirect was awarded places on the 2011 First Team in several categories, including PLCs, Programmable Automation Controllers, pressure sensors/transmitters, and temperature sensors/transmitters.
