AutomationDirect® introduces optical rotary encoders

AutomationDirect offers a line of nearly 200 optical rotary encoders for use in positioning and motion control applications. The line includes standard shaft and hollow shaft versions of incremental models, and absolute sensing models. The incremental models are quadrature style, in resolutions from 100 to 2500 lines per revolution. All encoders feature a reinforced aluminum diecast casing, have an operating temperature range of -10 to +60 degrees C, and come equipped with a two-meter cable exit. To offer a wide array of encoders, many "non-stock" encoders are available in addition to the company’s line of in-stock encoders. Non-stock encoders can be delivered in 4-6 weeks for quantities less than 100; larger quantities will require more time. Pricing for the encoders starts at $71.
