Filter

The Filter screen allows you to configure a variety of constants and settings for the low pass filter, moving filter, and s-curve on your servo system. Not all parameters are needed for all Modes of Operation. Those Parameters will be greyed out and can't be edited when the drive is in those modes.

The following parameters can be configured on the Filter screen:

Option Function
Position Command Smoothing Constant P1.008 allows you to adjust the position command smoothing constant in 10ms increments. Range is 0 to 1000.
Speed Command Smoothing Constant P1.006 allows you to adjust the speed command smoothing constant in 1ms increments. Range is 0 to 1000.
Torque Command Smoothing Constant P1.007 allows you to adjust the torque command smoothing constant in 1ms increments. Range is 0 to 1000.
Position Command - Moving Filter P1.068 allows you to adjust the position command moving filter in 1ms increments. Range is 0 to 100.
Speed Command-Moving Filter P1.059 allows you to adjust the speed command moving filter in 1ms increments. Range is 0.0 to 4.0.
Acceleration Constant (TACC) P1.034 allows you to adjust the acceleration constant (TACC) in 1ms increments. Range is 1 to 65,500.
Deceleration Constant (TDEC) P1.035 allows you to adjust the deceleration constant (TDEC) in 1ms increments. Range is 1 to 65,500.
Smoothing Constant (TSL) P1.036 allows you to adjust the smoothing constant (TSL) in 1ms increments. Range is 0 to 65,500.

You can load the current parameter values to the text boxes by clicking Read All Parameters.

Parameter data can be adjusted by typing a new value in the appropriate text box. To update multiple parameters, click Write All Parameters to copy the parameter values to the servo.

To update specific sets of parameters, click Write Selected Item(s). Selected parameters will be highlighted by a blue box, as shown below:
