The General Setting screen lets you configure some commonly used parameters - rotation direction, regenerative resistor setting, and delay time of magnetic brake.
Option | Function |
---|---|
Rotation Direction | P1.001.Z toggles motor rotation direction. Select 0 to have positive values result in counterclockwise rotation and negative values result in clockwise rotation. Select 1 to have positive values result in clockwise rotation and negative values result in counterclockwise rotation. |
Regenerative Resistor Setting | P1.052 sets the resistance value of the regenerative resistor. Possible range depends on the model. Please see P1.052 for details. P1.053 sets the watts of the regenerative resistor. Range is 0 to 6000. |
Delay Time of Magnetic Brake | P1.042 sets the delay time for releasing the magnetic brake. Range is 0 to 1000 ms. P1.043 sets the delay time for engaging the magnetic brake. Range is -100 to +1000 ms. P1.038 sets the zero speed range for ZSPD in increments of 1 rpm. Range is 0.0-200.0. |
Brake Relay Setting | Use the BRKR DO drop-down to select a digital output setting for the brake relay. |
You can load the current parameter values by clicking Read All Parameters.
Parameter data can be adjusted by typing a new value in the appropriate text box or selecting the appropriate radio button. To update multiple parameters, click Write All Parameters to copy the parameter values to the servo.
To update specific parameters, click Write Selected Item(s). Selected parameters will be highlighted by a blue box, as shown below:
