Portable Memory Device Eject |
SBRW-001006 |
On to eject portable storage device, "Portable Memory Device Ready" is off when ready to eject. Note: The portable memory device must be removed and reinserted to reactivate the writing device. Note: Should be used before removing a device to ensure all data is written to the drive prior to removal. |
Event Based Note: System will reset to a low state when eject is completed. |
Below is an example using a discrete bit to trigger the Portable Memory Device Eject system bit. Use an edge-triggered contact to SET the Portable Memory Device Eject bit. Once the SET goes high, the Portable Memory Device Ready bit will go low and the Portable Memory Device Eject bit will reset itself. RST instruction is not required.
