Programming Tools

Program Commands are input from the LD Tool Box. Users can select the tool by selecting a position in the Ladder Diagram program and clicking on the needed tool. Users can also select a position in the Ladder Diagram and then use the Shortcut Key for the needed tool.

Symbol	Shortcut Key	Description
	Esc	This changes from tool mode back to selection mode.
	F3	Inserts a Normally Open Contact at the cursor.
	F4	Inserts a Normally Closed Contact at the cursor.
	Shift + F1	Inserts a Positive Transition sensing Contact at the cursor.
	Shift + F2	Inserts a Negative Transition sensing Contact at the cursor.
	F5	Inserts a Horizontal Line at the cursor.Used to draw ladder rungs.
	F6	Inserts a Vertical Line at the cursor.Used to draw ladder rungs.
	Shift + F8	Draws a Horizontal Line from the cursor to the right most available Ladder Diagram column.
	Shift + F9	Inserts a Not Instruction contact at the cursor.
	F9	Inserts an Output Coil at the cursor.
	F11	Inserts a Negated Coil at the cursor.
	Shift + F3	Inserts a Set (Latch) Coil at the cursor.
	Shift + F4	Inserts a Reset (Unlatch) Coil at the cursor.
	Shift + F5	Inserts a Positive Transition sensing Coil at the cursor.
	Shift +F6	Inserts a Negative Transition sensing Coil at the cursor.
	F10	Inserts a Function/Function Block at the cursor. For example: Timer On (TON) or a User Function/Function block.
	Shift + F7	Inserts an Instruction Extension at the cursor.
	Ctrl + 3	Inserts Normally Open Contact with OR logic.
	Ctrl + 4	Inserts Normally Closed Contact with OR Logic.
	Ctrl + 5	Inserts Positive Transition sensing Contact with OR logic.
