How to Monitor Motion Control with the Trend Monitoring Window
This topic covers 2 examples to monitor motion control with the EtherCAT modules XBF-PN08B and XBF-PN04B.

In this example, we are going to monitor the current position of Axis1.

Click the right mouse button in the Trend Monitoring window and select Screen Setting...

Uncheck View Bit Graph and Display XY Graph. Press OK.
Only the Trend Graph is displayed.

Click the right mouse button in the Trend Monitoring window again and select Trend Device Setting...
The Trend Setup window pops up.

Click the Trend Graph tab.

Select 1 axis in the Axis cell.

Select Current Pos. in the Device cell.

Press OK to finish setting up trend graph.
The current position of Axis1 is displayed in the Trend Graph.

In this example, we are going to monitor the current positions of Axis1 and Axis2 that are executing a circular interpolation move.

Note: Axis 1 and Axis 2 Current Positions must be setup in the Trend graph tab to be used in the XY Graph tab. Click the Trend Graph tab.

Select 1 axis in the Axis cell of row 1.

Select 2 axis in the Axis cell of Row 2.

Select Current Pos. in the Device cell for Rows 1 and 2.

Click the XY Graph tab.

Select 1 axis_CurrentPos. in the X axis Device column.

Click the right mouse button in the Trend Monitoring window again and select the Graph Setting.

The Graph Setup window pops up. Check the Fix XY Graph Ratio option.
