XPM_IST with Relative Positioning
Relative Positioning will move an axis to a position relative to current position.

A positive Target position value will move in positive direction.

A Negative Target position value will move in negative direction.

In this example, we want to move the actuator 50 mm from current position.

XPM_IST will have to be executed twice.
Axis 1 is configured for pulses. Commanding 5,000 pulses will move the actuator 25 mm per execution of XPM_IST. 1,000 pulses = 5 mm
In this example, we want to move the actuator 50 mm by executing XPM_IST twice (25 mm per relative move).
