Updating XBL-EIPT OS with XG5000
OS update for the XBL-EIPT is handled through XG5000.

| 1 |
Record current XBEL-EIPT rotary switch settings. Set the rotary switch on the XBL-EIPT to 91.

| 2 | Power cycle or turn on the XEM CPU. The XBL-EIPT LED will be blinking in a rotation pattern to show the module is in boot mode. |
| 3 | Get online with the XEM CPU in XG5000.
Go to Online menu è Communication Module Setting and Diagnosis è OS Upload/Download…

Select slot number of the XBL-EIPT with link type XGL-BBM. File Type should be OS. Press Download button to select OS file.

Select the XBL-EIPT OS file.

Wait for download to finish.
|

Click OK on Finished downloading message.

Set rotary switches on XBL-EIPT to 00 or previous setting for your application.

| 9 | Power cycle the XEM CPU. |

Check XBL-EIPT firmware version. Go to Online è Communication Module Setting and Diagnosis è System Diagnosis.

Right-click on XBL-EIPT. Choose Detailed Module Information…

OS Ver should match the version that was downloaded to it.
