XEM PLC Rack mounts to a 35mm DIN rail.

To Mount to DIN Rail:

  1. Pull down the DIN rail hooks on the bottom of all modules in the PLC rack.

  2. Install the PLC rack on the DIN rail.

  3. Push the DIN rail hooks up on all modules after installation to secure the PLC rack to the DIN rail.

Mounting Clearance

Follow clearance guidelines for ventilation, easier removal, and installation.

Clearance to the sides depends on if it is Wire Duct versus another piece of equipment.

Recommended Clearance Distance:

  1. Wire Duct on the side requires 5 mm or more.

  2. Panel wall on the side requires 20 mm or more.

  3. Another device on the side requires 50 mm or more.

A clearance distance of 100 mm or more is recommended for the front of the device. This is the side with I/O connectors and LED status lights.

PLC Rack should be mounted horizontally with the face of the modules perpendicular to the ground.
