Webserver (Secure HTTPs) Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Yes, if you have a Global IP Address you can assign to the panel. An IP Address is a unique number that network devices use in order to identify each other on a network when implementing the Internet Protocol. Most often you will need to request a Global IP Address from your Network Administrator or your ISP (Internet Service Provider).

When the Webserver (Secure HTTPs) feature is activated by using the Panel Network tool in the C-more Programming software, the C-more panel will accept Webserver (Secure HTTPs) requests from clients. These clients are most often web browsers. C-more will display web pages in the browser, which are usually HTML documents, but can also display raw text files, an image, or some other type of document. When you use Web Services through a Webserver (Secure HTTPs), all you need to know to start communicating is the IP Address of the C-more panel you want to talk to.
