Panel Manager Settings

  1. IP Address: The IP Address of the Do-more CPU. Use the Do-more Designer software or the NetEdit utility to find the IP address for the Do-more PLC. See below for details.

  2. Password: If the Do-more CPU has a password, it will be necessary to enter the password into this field in order to access the PLC.

Note: The Privileges for the password entered must at least have “Read Data – RD” and “Write Data – WD” selected in order to work correctly with C-more. See the image below.

  1. Retries (0-10): The C-more Panel will send a request to the Do-more CPU. If the CPU does not reply within the specified “Timeout Time”, the C-more will send the request again. Once the retry count (specified in this field) limit has been reached, the C-more panel will display a PLC Timeout error on the screen.

  2. Ack Timeout Time( 1-255) (in 100ms units): The amount of time (in 100ms units) the panel will wait on an Ackreply after sending a request. After the Timeout timer expires, a Retry will be attempted if specified.

  3. Command Timeout Time( 1-255) (in 100ms units): The amount of time (in 100ms units) the panel will wait on the Command reply sending a command. After the Timeout timer expires, a Retry will be attempted if specified.

  4. Poll Time (0-30000 msec): The amount of time (in milliseconds) the panel will wait between each request.

  5. Memory version: A display only field that indicates the Do-more Memory version that this version of C-more supports. It should match the Memory Version of the Do-more CPU in order to reliably read and write Data If they do not match, an error will be indicated on the C-more panel display. Either the C-more programming software and firmware version or the Do-more firmware version will need to be upgraded in order for both to reliably communicate to each other. The Do-more Memory version can be viewed by entering in DST24 into a Data View window of the Do-more Designer software while connected to the CPU (shown below).

Finding IP Address Using NetEdit

Download the NetEdit software from http://support.automationdirect.com/downloads.html.

Open NetEdit and click Scan Network. A list of any available modules will appear. Double click on the Do-more CPU and the General Settings dialog will open showing the IP Address of the Do-more CPU. Insert this IP Address into the C-more Panel Manager configuration.

Finding IP Address using Do-more Designer

Once you have connected to the Do-more CPU with the Do-more Designer software, click the Info button in the toolbar.

You will see the IP address settings at the bottom of the Info window.
