- Click the Start button on the Home tab Read from Disk
— or —
from the File menu select Open Project.
- The Open window opens.
- Browse to the folder with your projects.
- To open a project, double-click or select the file name and click Open.
- To view only files of a certain project type click the file type drop-down arrow and select a file type in the field adjacent to the File name field.
The following project file types are available:
.eapv
The standard C-more CM5 project file type.
.eppv
The CM5 Save Project as Protected file type. A protected project cannot be edited and can only be written to the panel.
.easv
The Startup Storage file type stores the project file, panel firmware, panel operating system and logged data as a back-up file. The file is created when doing a backup to a memory device installed on the panel. The file is also created when doing a Project Transfer to an external memory device.
- When backing up on the panel, the Backup feature is accessed through the Main menu of the touch panel. When storing from the PC, use the Project Transfer feature. The.easv file will be stored in an CMEA-MemoryCopy folder and can be opened using the C-more software.
.eap9
The standard C-more EA9 project file type. This file can be opened in v8.00 software. It will be converted to an.eapv when saved. The EA9 project file should be saved in version 6.73 or later.
