Line Object Length Tab

Line object is accessed from Shape in the Object menu or the Object List.

To view the Length tab for the Line Object, click to select the Advanced check box on the top right corner.

The Length tab allows the user to enter and edit settings that will animate the length of the object according to the Tag Names and Parameters selected.

When the Length tab is selected, the setup window shown below opens.

The contents shown in the figure above will be shaded, indicating that you cannot make changes. To make the window active, tick the box.

Set Up the Length Tab Options

Complete the fields on the screen using the information in the table below.

Line Length Options
Field	Description
Base Point	Select the point on the line that will be anchored at all times: center, right, or left.
Tag Name	Select the Tag Name that will determine the length of the line.
Length Scaling	The settings available with this item decide the Length Growth parameters according to values received from the PLC. The settings available are PLC value and animation length. PLC value: Point 1 enter the minimum value expected from the PLC. Pinata enter the maximum value expected from the PLC. Animation Length: Point 1 enter the desired length of the line in pixels at the minimum expected PLC value. Pinata enter the desired length of the line in pixels at the maximum expected PLC value.
