MQTT Broker Topic List

 Topic: CM202

The MQTT Broker Topic List is a tool for building MQTT topics for use in the project. Each connection has its own unique Topic List which you can configure with up to 50 topics. The topic list is shared between the Subscriber and Publishers of the selected MQTT Connection. It is not shared across connections.

To open the Broker Topic List select the Broker button in either the Subscriber or Publisher Add/Edit windows

To enter a new topic, double-click in the field and type.

Export/Import

You can export, modify, and import the Broker Topic List.

Export

  1. Select Export to open the Export MQTT Broker Topic List window.

  1. Set the following:
  • Save in: select the File Path to save the exported file.
  • File Name: enter a file name for the exported file.
  • File Type: Select. xls or .csv file type

Import

Select Import to open the Import MQTT Broker Topic List window.

Set the following:

  • File Path: select the file to import
  • Import Options: select if the file has a header row
  • Overwrite Existing Broker Topics: select to overwrite any topics that already exist
 

Note: If this is not selected and any topics are duplicates, an error displays.
