Panel Manager — FTP Service Setup

With the FTP server enabled in the panel, you can use your own FTP client to retrieve Recipe, Data log, Alarm log, and Screen Capture files that have been saved to the panel's external memory devices. Recipe files and HTML files may also be written to the panel.

To set up FTP service, do the following:

  1. In the Panel Network, select FTP Service.
  • The FTP Service window opens.

  1. Complete the fields on the screen using the information in the table below:

Field Description
Execute Panel FTP Server Service Select this check box to enable the FTP server in the panel. If the FTP server will not be used, for security purposes clear (do not tick) this box.
Port Number This field should stay at the default of 21.
User Restrictions The maximum number of users allowed to be connected to the panel at one time (1 to 10 users).
Account
Anonymous Select if you do not want to require an account and password to access the FTP server.
Account and Password The account and password can be anything you wish to use to restrict access to the FTP server.
Account Enter a user name or ID required to access the FTP server on the panel.
Password Enter a password required to access the FTP server on the panel.

 

Note: When using Microsoft Internet Explorer as the FTP client with small, standalone applications, Internet Explorer requires the use of three (3) or more User Restrictions to access the C-more FTP server.
