Import Projects & Databases

C-more Programming Software allows you to import database files and project information. Use this feature when you copy information from an existing project to a second project, or when you export and edit a database.

Import Project Data

You can import the following project information from another project file (*.eap9 or *.eapv):

Tag Name Database
Message Database
Event Database
Address Book
Recipe Database including all recipe sheets and all recipe records in each recipe sheet. It is a more inclusive feature than separate Import-Recipe Sheet.

You can also imports screens from another project file. In the Project Data Import window, check the Screen Data check box and select each screen to import. Use Shift-Click to select more than one screen.

Import Databases

The following databases may be imported:

Tag Name Database (*.xls, * .csv or *.l5k or *l5x)
Message Database (*.xls)
Address Book (*.xls)
Language Edit (*.xls)
Event Database (*.xls)
Recipe Sheet (that you export from another C-more project OR save from Excel in UNICODE file format with .csv extension only). This imports a single recipe sheet with all its recipe records.
Library ( you export from another C-more project that can include Screen Library, Object Library, Graphic, and/or Sound Library)

You can import project information and databases with File > Import. You can import databases from the Database window in the C-more Software.
