User-Defined LED

Note: CM5-T4W does not have a user-defined LED.

C-more Series CM5 panels have two LED on the front bezel: one is the power indicator and the second is user-configurable.

There are three system tags to control the user-defined LED:

  • SYS User LED Blink (Discrete)
  • SYS User LED Color1 (Unsigned int 16, allowable values: 0 = off, 1=red, 2=green, 3=orange)
  • SYS User LED Color2 (Unsigned int 16, allowable values: 0 = off, 1=red, 2=green, 3=orange)
    (The alternating color when SYS User LED Blink is ON)

You can configure an action in Event Manager to light the user-defined LED.

You can configure an event which activates when the value of NUMERIC TAG 1 is greater than some value. You can configure an tag action for this event to light the user LED red.

You must also turn the LED OFF the same way. In our example, we create a second event to turn off the LED when NUMERIC TAG 1 is in an acceptable range:
