D2-DCM and D3-DCM Update
Process
STEP 1: Configure DCM
for update mode
- Remove jumper JP1
- Select the secondary address
(1-90)
- Select the baudrate and
parity
- Put DCM into the Base
- Connect the communication
cable (D3-DSCBL-2) between your computer and the DCM
- Power-Up the base
- Check the LED pattern

STEP 2: Start the update
tool
- Start Module Update Tool
- Select Comm. Port, baud
rate and parity
- Select data file
- Set secondary address.
STEP 3: Start the update
- Click [Start] button.

STEP 4: Confirm update

STEP 5: Configuring the
DCM for normal run mode
- Power-OFF system
- Remove DCM from the base
and install jumper JP1
- Place the module into base
and apply power again
- If NK,TO,MA,EQ,HD,and DT
LEDs blink, the update operation was not successful, and you should return to
Step 1
